At UMA Tourism and Holidays Pvt. Ltd., we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which bookings made through umatourism.com may be cancelled or refunded.
General Cancellation Rules
• All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to our official support address.
• Cancellation charges will be applicable as per the terms of the respective airlines, hotels,
transport operators, or activity providers.
• UMA Tourism acts only as a booking agent and has no control over the individual
cancellation/refund policies of third-party service providers.
• In cases of force majeure (natural calamities, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, etc.),
refund decisions will depend on the policies of the service providers involved.
Flight Bookings
• Flight cancellations are subject to the airline’s fare rules and policies.
• Service fees charged by UMA Tourism at the time of booking are non-refundable.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed only after receiving confirmation from the airline.
Hotel Bookings
• Hotel cancellations are subject to the hotel’s individual cancellation and refund policy.
• Certain bookings may be non-refundable or partially refundable, depending on the selected rate.
• No-shows will not be eligible for refunds.
Holiday Packages & Tours
• Package cancellations made 30 days or more before departure – Minimum service
charges apply.
• Cancellations made 15–29 days before departure – Up to 50% of the package cost may
be charged.
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before departure – No refund will be provided.
• Any visa fees, insurance, or other non-refundable charges are not eligible for a refund.
Refund Process
• Refunds, if applicable, will be initiated within 7–21 working days after confirmation
from the service provider.
• Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment used during booking.
• UMA Tourism is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party
service providers.
Important Notes
• Service charges, convenience fees, and booking fees charged by UMA Tourism are
non-refundable.
• In case of partial utilization of a service (e.g., using only one-way of a round-trip ticket),
no refund will be applicable.
• Customers are strongly advised to read and understand the cancellation terms of each
booking before making payments.
